Where are the perfumery courses held?

All courses take place at Rezenn Academy, Eco Ardence, Setia Alam (Shah Alam), Selangor, Malaysia, where we teach in small groups with the Cinquième Sens Olfactorium and professional fragrance materials.

How much do the courses cost and how long are they?

Module 1: Fragrance Creation Foundation is MYR 2,500 for 2 days (14 hours). Module 2: Techniques & Language of Perfumery is MYR 3,600 for 3 days. Classes run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Early bird prices are available — contact us now on WhatsApp to secure yours.

Can I join with no perfumery experience?

Yes. Module 1 starts with an assessment of your olfactory abilities and introduces raw materials, fragrance structure and formulation step by step. It suits people entering the fragrance field as well as professionals in R&D, marketing and brand development, and entrepreneurs creating their own fragrance brands.

Can I go straight to Module 2?

No. Module 2 is open only to participants who have completed Module 1 (Fragrance Creation Foundation), so everyone shares the same foundation in olfactory skills, raw materials and fragrance structure.

Is the training HRD Corp claimable?

Yes. Our courses in Malaysia are recognised by HRD Corp for corporate training claims and are accredited by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) as a Professional Development Course. Contact us and we will guide you through the claim process.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Every course comes with a certificate endorsed by the President of Cinquième Sens (France) and the Founder of Rezenn Academy, finished with an authentic hologram sticker.

What is Cinquième Sens?

Cinquième Sens is a French perfume creation and professional training organisation founded in Paris in 1976 by perfumer Monique Schlienger. Its methodology is rooted in the teachings of perfumer Jean Carles, and its training is QUALIOPI certified. Rezenn Academy is the sole licensee of Cinquième Sens in Malaysia.

How is this different from a perfume-making workshop?

Our courses teach perfumery as a discipline rather than a one-off experience. You learn raw materials, olfactory evaluation, accord construction and fragrance formulation, so you can create and evaluate your own compositions with a structured method.

Are materials provided?

Yes. All sessions use the Cinquième Sens Olfactorium, professional fragrance materials and structured learning tools.

Do you offer corporate or customised training?
